The rumor is that Gloria's El Salvadorian Restaurant will be moving into Uptown. The under construction apartments at Lemmon and Carlisle will be their new home. No word as to the Lemmon Ave location closing ,but, that would be my guess. If you have never tried them you should the food is fantastic.
Red Mango yogurt should be open by Thanksgiving. The location is at 2811 Mc Kinney Ave across the street from Greenz. I have never tried there yogurt ,but, they get great reviews on the net. Another restaurant opening in November will be Ocean Prime. They are located in the new high rise Rosewood Court. They plan a 10,000 sq foot of restaurant space bucking the national trend for smaller restaurant's .
David Sanborn will be at the ATTPAC , performing arts center, on Friday. The big grand opening is this Sunday. The Great State Fair of Texas ends this weekend with a bang depending on which team wins.
